Celebrate Earth Month at Eyedrum with Contraband Cinema!

Love local film even more than you love the planet? Not even a contest? Come out Saturday to Eyedrum Art & Music Gallery for a special program of nine films that dance with various aspects of what it means to live on this humble globe. It's certified organic!

PRODUCTS OF OUR ENVIRONMENT will showcase videos and 16mm films featuring anything from invasive species and animated excrement to filmmaking fireflies and luminescent fungi. Directors include Stan Brakhage, Greta Snider, Josh Gibson, David Montgomery, Caleb Wood, and Atlanta's own Robbie Land. Land and his super relevant surname will be in attendance to screen his new cut of "Matters of Bioluminescence."

Support Atlanta arts and their collectives with the price of a footlong sub, and dip your toe into the underground water that is Contraband Cinema. PLUS: show up early to earn free seeds!

Saturday, April 11th. Doors at 7pm, films at 8pm. $7.
